Maribet completed her Bachelor Degree in Architecture and a Minor Degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Miami in 1997, and for the following eight years became co-owner in several design, development and construction companies and since then, she has founded Prana Synergy as her private design practice.

Parallel to her professional endeavors, she has been studying Spirituality for over twenty years, developing a greater understanding of who we are as beings composed of mind, body, and spirit and how we energetically interact with the environment that surrounds us. In 2005, Maribet also acquired the National Certification as a Feng Shui Practitioner, merging the awareness of the effect of energy and its use to create a harmonious environment and began a series of studies in the field of Bio-energy healing modalities up to the Advanced Levels of Quantum-Touch; Reiki Master; and Healing Touch, Level I.

Maribet synergistically combines the knowledge of Healing, Architecture, Interior Design, Landscaping, and Feng Shui to create healing environments in her private practice in Residential, Commercial, and Healthcare settings. Internationally, she completed the design of medical services such as Hemodynamics, Radiology, Electrocardiology, and Patient Rooms for a Cardiological Hospital, ASCARDIO, in her native country, Venezuela.

As a Volunteer at Tampa General Hospital, Maribet has joined the Integrative Medicine Program where, under the leadership of Dr. Sheela Chokshi, she has been creating healing environments, providing energy treatments and other healing techniques in addition to teaching meditation classes and workshops for patients as well as for physicians and staff members.

Some of the environments that have enjoyed this harmonious transformations at TGH are the Burn ICU, the Trauma ICU, and at the Rehab Center the Conference Room and other administrative offices, the Inpatient Gym, the Acute Care Services Office, the Activities Room and the Employee Garden Retreat.

As an international speaker, Maribet has addressed audiences in the field of Integrative Medicine, Spirituality, Feng Shui, Bio-energy Medicine, Motivational Speaking, conducting meditations and organizing and participating in medical missions in North America, South America and India.
